Gillian Hill works in film, and sits on BAFTA film commitee, chairs the performance categories for BIFA and was instrumental in obtaining the first ever BAFTA award for castng in both TV and film, she chairs awards for CSA European Board.

Nikki Meadows is a Casting Director working across TV, film and commercials in the UK and US – specialising in feature length and multi episodic drama and drama documentary for television. She is a full member of the Casting Directors’ Guild, The Casting Directors Association and a voting member of BAFTA.

She cast the critically acclaimed BAFTA winning Suffragettes with Lucy Worsley (BBC1 – Best Specialist Factual BAFTA winner) and has numerous prime time broadcast credits for her work for BBC, ITV, CH5, Netflix and Sky including Lost Pirate Kingdom, The Winter Palace and Jesus Crown of Thorns which she is currently casting for seasons 2 and 3 following the success of season 1.

She continues to work as a mentor with NFTS with students casting their first year, digi and graduate films.
She has cast multiple profile brand and charity commercials and has been working with the NSPCC casting their hard hitting online and tv campaigns for the past 5 years.

She was nominated for 2 awards for Best Film & TV Drama for her work at the CDA Awards in 2020, for Best Short Film and Best Children’s Casting at the CDA Awards in 2022 and again for Best Short film with her Cannes selected short film KBJ in 2023.

She was named as Casting Director of the Year at Mandy’s 2021 Casting Director Awards.

Having trained as an actor at RADA, Carl worked in theatre, film and TV for a number of years. Acting credits include ‘Timon of Athens’ for the Royal Shakespeare Company at The Young Vic Theatre, directed by Trevor Nunn and ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ at The Donmar Warehouse, directed by Sam Mendes. He has produced one feature film – ‘Mad Dogs, produced and/or directed award winning short films and theatre, including ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ the West End rock ‘n’ roll musical.

Carl now works as a Casting Director, mainly in film and TV. He has cast over 40 films including ‘Shadow of The Vampire’ with Willem Dafoe and John Malkovich, ‘The Wedding Date’ with Deborah Messing and Amy Adams, ‘Blood Creek’ with Michael Fassbender and Henry Cavill, directed by Joel Schumacher and Trevor Nunn’s ‘Twelfth Night’ with Helena Bonham Carter, Ben Kingsley, Richard E Grant, Imelda Staunton and Nigel Hawthorne. The film ‘Son of God’ was released by 20th Century Fox in 3000 cinemas across America. Carl cast over 80 largely British actors in ‘The Bible Series’, initially for US TV, it has become the most successful mini-series of all time. Last year Carl cast a series for Germany and US – Pan Tau and is currently casting several films.

Having started off in Production, Abhaya Sethu moved into the field of casting in 2018. She was fortunate to have gained experience with Dixie Chassay and worked as a freelance casting assistant for Heather Basten. Since 2020 Abby has worked with Amy Hubbard for 2 years as a casting assistant working on TV/Film projects such as SUSPICION, THE OUTLAWS, DECEIT and THE GIRL BEFORE. She has also worked as a casting assistant for Catherine Willis for a year and a half, working on projects such as RENEGADE NELL, MRS SIDHU INVESTIGATES and MARLOW MURDER MYSTERIES. She has since become freelance working for Lucy Amos and Isabella Odoffin

Bonnie founded Bonnie & Betty Agency 14 years ago now, after working at various different agencies previously. Bonnie and Betty are now one of the largest kids agencies across the board, loved by many as being one of the only agencies to have both model and talent/acting divisions in such volume, meaning their client list is extremely varied and their reach far and wide. They currently have kids modelling in high end fashion campaigns, performing in the West End, voicing well known animated characters, featuring in major feature films and popular TV series, as well as being spotted in major advertisement campaigns all over the world.

Warren is one of the directors of TTA and he established TTA back in 2008. Warren looks after a small pool of high profile clients, children and adult actors, many of which have LA agents or managers. He has had great success within the film and TV industry with many clients securing leading roles in Marvel, Star Wars, BBC, Netflix shows, Apple+ and much, much more. He also continues as Principal for Hertfordshire’s leading stage school: “Top Hat Stage School” with over 15 years teaching children in drama and dance. Warren is also seen regularly judging various talent shows both here in the UK and in the states. He trained in Scotland and has appeared as an actor is a variety of TV and films. As casting director he has worked on a variety of projects such as short films, comedy series and music videos. In 2014 he also won “Business Person of the Year” at the Hertfordshire Business Awards. He has welcomed a great team of talented bookers and is very committed, passionate and hard working.

Pamela is originally from Scotland and moved to London to pursue her career in the arts. She trained at Itali Conti and had many successful years working in the industry. Pamela has a wealth of experience as an agent, acting & musical theatre coach. With clients working in leading roles in London’s West End, Commercials, Film and Television, Pamela not only knows every client’s abilities and strengths, she nurtures each client and prepares them for self tapes, in person castings, recalls and booking the job. She has gained a fountain of knowledge throughout her years in the industry and her dedication and drive is evident in our Achieve Arts Agency clients success stories.

Kim Thursfield is first a mother of two children. She trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts at The Barbican in London from the age of 12. After graduating at 18, she went into the big wide world of performing where she performed in Pantomimes, UK Tours, five star Hotels and some film and television programmes.

Once she married she had a full time job working in PR and Marketing for a Theatre where she learnt a lot about marketing a show, contacts, Producing and Directing including Producing and Directing her own show there for charity.

When Kim had her first daughter, she decided she didn’t want to work full time and wanted to be freelance in order to work flexibly with family life.

She bought her own franchise Theatre School in Sevenoaks which she built from 0 – 85 students in three years. She then bought her second franchise school which was of equal success in only a year.

She ran her two schools alongside being a vocal coach for many top theatre schools in the area.

In 2018 one of her students landed a role in a Hollywood film. This then led her down the road of also building an agency.

Kim successfully sold both franchise schools and is now completely freelance working as a vocal coach and running her agency KTTA which has now seen many children and adults land roles in West End Musicals and TV/Film projects.

Kim is also the author of ‘The Future Performer’ which is written from an Agents perspective along with her experience at a full time stage school.

Francesca originates from the Shetland Islands. She trained at the Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow and ArtsEd, London gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre. She has worked for over 14 years as a performer in the West End, in regional productions and internationally. Francesca originated Bijou Talent in 2018 and it has grown from strength to strength over the years, partnering with some of the UK’s top theatre schools.

Francesca is a qualified ISTD ballet teacher and tap teacher, also teaching modern, jazz, musical theatre and singing.

The Boury Agency was founded in 2017 and operates from The Boury Studios in Vauxhall, London.

Representing both young performers and adults across Screen and Stage, they have a small book prioritising client relationships, and career planning and progression.

As part of a wider non-profit, their client commission is reinvested into creating opportunities for the next generation of young performers with an emphasis on those from the estates in Lambeth.

Rebecca has enjoyed a busy career in television, voiceover, commercials, and cruise ships. For many years she has worked with young children as a drama and musical theatre teacher at various theatre schools along the South Coast and has been a judge for talent competitions in the UK and overseas.

Rebecca has spent the last 6 years producing/directing children’s musicals for local communities bringing the magic of theatre to young children who do not have access to the performing arts.

It has always been a lifelong dream of Rebecca’s to run her own talent agency and in 2018 this became reality, with clients quickly booking work in feature films, commercials, west end theatre and television.

Rebecca uses her previous experience within the industry to provide and create opportunities for the talent she represents. Keeping her numbers low she prides herself of providing a 1:1 relationship for all of her clients and is able to offer advice on further training and development.

Melissa is a professionally trained actor, having honed her craft at Rose Bruford College, one of London’s most prestigious drama schools. Since graduating, Melissa has worked in theatre, film, and voiceovers. In 2021, Melissa co-founded The Actors Umbrella Youth (TAU Youth), a company specializing in industry-leading on-screen acting training for young performers. Building on this success, she launched TAU Talent in 2023 with her business partner, Niamh. This boutique agency represents child actors across the UK and provides comprehensive representation across TV, film, theatre, & radio.

Susie runs Goldmans Kids, a division of Goldmans Management and has been an agent for over 10 years. Her young clients have appeared in West End shows (including Matilda, Les Mis, Mrs Doubttfire, Stranger Things, Tina, Mary Poppins), feature films, television projects and countless commercials. Susie is a founding member and sits on the Board of the AYPA (Agents for Young Performers Association) and is passionate about being a catalyst for change in policies and practices regarding children and young people working in the entertainment industry. She is also Head Chaperone at the internationally renowned Glyndebourne opera house in Sussex, where is she responsible for the safeguarding and well-being of all performing children.

Sarah MacDonnell is owner and agent at Ardent Talent, a specialist talent agency for children and young performers.

Sarah established Ardent Talent in April 2017 and has built a solid reputation for representing, nurturing and establishing the careers of young and upcoming talent gaining work in theatre, film, television, animation, radio and commercials. Her young talent’s recent credits include The Regime (HBO), Pickle Storm (CBBC), Time (BBC), Ted Lasso (Apple TV+), The Grapes of Wrath (National Theatre).

A former actress herself, Sarah has many years experience as an agent and teacher in the performing arts. Having taught Musical Theatre at a Preparatory School for a period of 9 years as well as LAMDA and singing on a freelance basis for over a decade while also working as an agent in the cruise entertainment industry.

Sarah is also Mum to an actor who, at the age of 9, began working professionally in the West End before moving into film and television. They are now working full time as an adult actor with a flourishing career. This gives Sarah valuable first-hand experience of the industry from a parent’s perspective.

Sarah sits on the board of The Agents of Young Performers Association (AYPA) as Co-Chairperson. The AYPA is committed to promoting and encouraging support, communication and best practice amongst agents of children and young performers. As part of her work at the AYPA, Sarah has contributed to industry forums and panels as well as several best practice documents for this sector of the industry.
